Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress, best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. She was also recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to reports, she is working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who co-wrote Immortals for an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. Additionally, she's working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
