Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy de Domme. The actress was inspired by her parents, dentist and teacher who were both teachers to follow her love of acting. This was in contrast to an earlier desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she was a fan of monkeys. The rise was swift in her career to become an internationally renowned young actress. In 1998 after her studies, she took part in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning acting professionally. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church in her youth and was raised Catholic. However she has since gotten away from her Catholic upbringing.
